In every case we will adapt the lessons to your needs

Methodology

30 minutes lessons:

Our phone lessons are based on 30 minutes sessions. We think that a 30 minutes duration is the most efficient to keep you focused on the discussion, but we can propose you longer lessons if you feel comfortable with that.
We speak French and only French from the first minute to the last. Our teachers do understand English so they can help you sometimes to find a particular word, but the goal for you is to use your time to speak French.

An entertaining method:

Our point of view is not necessarily to correct all of your mistakes. Many people don't speak in French even if they have strong skills, because they fear to be judged on their mistakes. The most important is to talk and to have a good comprehension first, and then we will help you to correct your most recurrent mistakes.
You teacher will always try to let you speak. We will not speak about boring grammar rules, there are tons of excellent books to learn that. More you will enjoy your lessons, more you will be confident in your French level, more you will make progress.

Variable contents:

We don't have a pre-defined lesson model. We may talk about the news, we may do some grammar exercises or do a role playing game. We will determine what your expectations are on the first lesson then we will constantly adapt our speech to fit your needs.

Mail assistance:

We are sending you an e-mail after each session showing you the highlights/lowlights in the discussion. With your agreement we may join some exercises to prepare the next lesson.

Instant Messenging:

We can establish a connection with an instant messenger during our phone lesson (Skype or MSN), this may help you to visualize some words you don't understand, or this can help your teacher to explain you a particular point.

Technology used

Voice over IP:

We call you on your regular phone at the scheduled time, so the phone call is totally free of charge for you. We are using Skypeout through a high-speed internet connection. We are using high-quality headsets, to ensure a good communication quality.
We do not advise our students to attend the lessons from a mobile phone, because the quality may vary. But we are open to any suggestion, and we can make a free test together to check the link quality before starting the first lesson.

Instant Messenger:

We can optionally use an instant messaging system to communicate during the phone calls. This can be very useful for your teacher to show you a word that you don't understand, or to work on the meaning of a small text.
We support two of them:
Skype: you can download it for free on http://www.skype.com
MSN: you can download it for free on http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

E-mail assistance:

If you subscribe to the e-mail assistance option, we will send you a report after each lesson, showing what needs to be worked on. We will propose you some exercises according to your needs, and we will correct them before the next lesson.
